Frequently Asked Questions
Do you see children?
Yes. We’re happy to welcome entire families to our Wichita practice so that your dental care experience can be that much more convenient and comfortable. However, we may recommend a pediatric specialist for especially young children with behavior management issues if we feel that would be a better fit for them and you.
Can I call you if I have a dental emergency?
Of course! Please contact Lakepoint Dental Health & Aesthetics right away if you experience a dental injury that you believe constitutes an emergency. Our team will schedule you for the soonest appointment time available, and in the meantime, we’ll be happy to provide you with detailed instructions on how to best preserve your oral health until you’re able to reach us.
Is root canal treatment really as scary as people say it is?
Not at all. While root canal therapy may have garnered a bad reputation over the years, the honest truth is that it is an effective and incredibly successful treatment option that can restore much-needed health, structure, and vitality to a severely damaged tooth. Please visit our root canal therapy page to learn more.
I’m missing a tooth! What are my options for replacement?
We offer several tooth replacement solutions for patients who are looking to replenish their smile. Dental implants are the clear frontrunner due to their numerous valuable health and aesthetic benefits, as well as their versatility. However, many people prefer dental bridges or dentures due to their convenience, speed, and affordability. Once our team has a full picture of your oral health, we’ll be happy to sit down with you and discuss each of these options in more detail so that we can create an individualized treatment plan that best fits your unique needs and desires.
Dental appointments make me very anxious. Is there anything you can do to help?
Yes! Sedation dentistry is available for your comfort. We offer several methods that can help take the edge off of your dental fear and promote relaxation as we take care of your smile. Visit our sedation dentistry page for more information.
